My good friend and crowned style-sister Alice recently told me about Luxdivine, a US-based handmade jewellery company that makes beautiful bohemian inspired gold, brass and gemstone creations. One look at their earthy druzy, glowing stones and bold naturally-inspired pieces in gold and brass and I was hooked. I have been on their site for the best part of an hour.
The company is run by a husband and wife Jessica and Ron who not only have inimitable taste but also strong sourcing values worth shouting about. “We search for all our gemstones and know where they all come from. We do not use stones that were involved in any negative practices such as child labor/slavery. All the leather used in our leather cuffs are recycled from scraps that would otherwise be in landfills. We strive to create a better planet with our jewelry one cuff at a time.”
As a picky jewellery magpie and crystal hunter, I am always on the lookout for sustainably produced pieces that tell a story and don’t cost a bomb. These tick all those boxes and are definitely to be coveted and loved. Bold, bright and rough around the edges, they’re full of wild character and tales to be told.
Top of my wishlist has to be the gold bull ring, a talismanic companion for travels far and wide.
