Greece diary #1

image

After twelve days in Greece I feel like my whole life has been reset and by way of immortalising the magic we found there I thought I would share the beauty we captured. The intensity and joy of a honeymoon, the majestic mountains of the Peloponnese, the mystical blue sea and all that inhabits it, the sleepy sunny beauty of towns long forgotten by the trodden path: the land was so good to us, and there is so much beauty to share.

First stop: Geromilenas in the Mani peninsula. It stole Patrick Leigh Fermor’s heart and ours are still captive. With hardly anyone in town except dedicated fisherman and sleepy taverna families, and the ocean to ourselves at our peaceful retreat, nature was our playground… and the perfect place to shoot the first of the most beautiful collection of wedding presents so lovingly sent to me by a super trio of sustainable fashion heroines from across the sea. The first: the Fonda dress by the amazing Novella Royale… a dreamer’s outfit for a mystical adventure.

  1. Oh my goodness, those pictures are breathtaking. The mountains, the sea, the colours, your dress… I love everything about it and the fact that the dress is sustainable makes it even more beautiful. I will keep that brand in mind for sure.
